Below, you'll find important dates and deadlines to to guide you through the Fort Lewis College campus housing and dining application and move-in process.

Spring 2025

Date Event Additional information
January 9 First-year and transfer students move-in Check-in: Thursday, January 9, check your email in December for instructions to sign up. Check-in will be at Skyhawk Station.
January 11 or 12 Continuing and returning students move-in Check-in: Saturday, January 11 and  Sunday, January 12, time of day TBD, at your residence hall.
March 17-21 Spring break Residence halls remain open/td>
May 2 Move-out Within 24 hours of last final or May 2 by noon at the latest.
May 3 Graduate move-out Spring graduates have until 1pm to check out of their residence hall.

Summer 2025

May 12 Move-in Students move-in or transition from spring to summer housing assignment 
July 26 Compass move-in Move-in from 10 - 11:30 am

Fall 2025

Housing & Dining application timelines

Incoming first-year & transfer students 

  • February 10: Housing application opens at 9:00 AM. 
  • May 19: Students who apply between February 10-May 19 will receive their housing assignment to their 麻豆免费高清无砖码区email address. 
  • May 26 鈥� Semester Start: Applications received after May 19 will receive their housing assignment by the following Monday. 
  • July 1: Housing guarantee date- Confirm your admission to guarantee a spot on campus! 

Continuing students 

  • February 12: Housing application opens at 9:00 AM. 
  • March 10: Students who apply for housing between February 12 and March 10 will receive their room selection timeslot for the week of March 24. 
  • Week of March 24: Starting this week, students with a timeslot can access room selection in the housing portal. Timeslots remain open until April 14. 
  • March 31: Fall class registration opens! 
  • May 5: Deadline to register for classes to keep your housing assignment 
  • May 19: Students who apply for housing between March 11 and May 5 can access room selection in their housing portal. Timeslots remain open until July 1. 
  • May 26 鈥� Semester Start: Weekly room selection for continuing and returning students. 
  • July 1: Cancellation deadline with $100 fee (must cancel before this date).

Summer 2025 Housing

The Summer 2025 housing application is not yet available. Applications will open on March 24. Summer housing is limited and assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.
